If this is your first time having your feet zoned, you might not know what to expect. Here's what generally happens in a foot zone session:
When you arrive you will take off your shoes and get comfortable in a chair.
I have baby wipes available if you’d like to use them on your feet before we get started.
I have a variety of pillows and blankets to use as desired.
A typical zone takes one hour but can be extended, if desired, for an extra charge.
For the next hour, you will get a relaxing foot massage, one foot at a time. During this time, you can do whatever you feel like doing:
Play with fidget toys
Relax or sleep
Drink water (provided)
As I massage your feet, I will occasionally note areas ("signals") on your feet that feel tight or "crunchy," as these correspond to various organs and systems in your body. If you're interested in investigating what your body is communicating and how to support it emotionally and nutritionally, we'll explore ways you can do that. This is where my training as a nutrition and wellness coach comes into play. We can discuss these bodily areas and the nutritional/emotional issues that may be related to them and how to support them. This can be a wonderful opportunity to explore old beliefs or other areas of your life where you're seeking more wellness.
The foot zone massage also helps to reduce your stress and supports the balanced functioning of body organs and systems—whether or not we talk about them.
A typical zone takes one hour but can be extended, if desired, for an extra charge.
If there is anything not to your liking, please let me know! My biggest goal is to help you have a safe, relaxing, healing experience.
And, as with any type of massage or therapy, remember to drink water afterward! This will help renew your body and flush out any released toxins.
I look forward to seeing you!
